The fear and loathing only lasted maybe half of an hour. What caused this condition? Well, there was a horrific earthquake in Lima today which sent off Tsunami sensors. So I sat with fingers crossed waiting for word at around 4:00ish to see if we were all clear or not. We are clear it seems. They are saying we might have some odd sea changes and weird currents but no "distructive" wave action. Wheew. Big fat sigh.
I was trying to figure out how I was going to get 3 dogs, 2 birds and 2 chameleons into our Wrangler. ( and honey that aint even counting the 2 kids and all our bullshit deemed invaluable that would be tossed into the whole craptastic-end-of-the-world-event a tsunami would create)
That would be like trying to get a marshmallow into a soda can. Or a great big fat lady into a size 5 dress...or...you get the idea.

On to a different subject....Look at these knitted cupcakes I found in google images. How sweet are these? Would they not make killer pincushions?
Yes they would! Looks simple enough to make...Should we all give it a try and post our resulting experiments? Im game if ya'll are. Lets call it the "Hell-yea-I-can-make-a-cupcake" event and then we can all post our results. Just leave your link in the reply area when ready so we can gaze at your inedible yarn-ey treat.
Im starting tonight...last one in is a rotten......cupcake? ;0)
- ON THE TABLE TONIGHT: chicken pot pie
ON THE DEVIL BOX:???? The kids are heading to the video store so who the hell knows. Me hopes its bloody...arrrgh!

I do believe the pattern for those bad boys is in the One Skein book. I might try to play along once I get home from the store.

And I cant wait to see Mousies entry...Hows your wisdom tooth by the way?

Mouse is one stylin' gal! I love that hoodie, nice & vibrant too. Eh...braces are a good excuse to not eat stuff you don't like. 3 years of them taught me that :D GUM is the only thing that requires the local teamsters to get out of the wires. Kale is delicious!
Check my blog later, I'll put up a couple pics of this bale of hay I call hair [GG]
